John Commemorates 9/11 Anniversary
Washington, D.C. - Today, Louisiana Congressman Chris John issued the following statement regarding this weekend's anniversary of the events of 9/11/01.
John issued this statement in conjunction with action in the U.S. House of Representatives yesterday on H. RES. 757, marking the anniversary of the terrorist attacks launched against the United States three years ago.
"This day is a memorial to bravery, honor and the American spirit. Today we join together to remember all those who gave their lives for freedom and the families and friends they left to carry-on. My wife Payton and I pray for these September 11th families and will forever remember their loved ones' sacrifice."
